How It Works

Please get in touch below about having a portrait painted or drawn or for anything else. I will reply quickly.

I can paint or draw either from sittings at my studio in London, UK or entirely from photos or from a combination of both. In either case I aim to paint or draw a portrait painting in oil or charcoal that you will cherish.

If you are able to come for sittings and you wish to minimise them, normally 2 or 3 sittings of 2 hours each would be needed. You can take as many breaks as you like. I take many photos in the first sitting and use them to work on your portrait between sittings – this takes a lot of my time but is not visible to you.

If you cannot come for sittings, I would ask for a selection of photos.
